Step-By-Step Instructions Using BimmerCode:
- (AT YOUR OWN RISK) I advise you to use a Battery Charger as you will be in accessory mode during these changes.
- (IMPORTANT) Activate Air Plane Mode - Limits any interruptions during this process.
Lets start the coding!
Open up BimmerCode and navigate to “Front Electronic Module” shown on the first screen shot and begin to follow steps after.
(See below Screenshots)
Select “Front Electronic Module”
Scroll down and Enter “Expert mode”
Use Search Bar or Scroll until you find "3060 LceMaster"
After use Search Bar or Scroll until you see “NSL_Verbaut”
Select “Verbaut”
Head back to the Main Control units screen shown on first screen shot, and begin with “Rear Electronic Module”
Select “Rear Electronic Module”
Scroll down and Enter “Expert mode”
Use Search Bar or Scroll until you find “3063 LceLampMapping2”
Now that we have finished coding the modules we need to specify which fog lights you would like turned on. Below are steps on activating both Left and Right. If you would like to dedicate one side then choose just the L Output & Function or R Output and Function.
Left Output & L Function
Right Output & R Function
Coding Completed!
**Make sure to disconnect from app before closing**
If coding was done correctly, you will see a Fog Light Icon appear on dashboard when Fog Light is activated. (Examples Below)
Keep in mind you can only activate Fog Lights when Headlights are On.
