About Me

Hi, I’m Dillon — the guy behind MIXD Solutions.

Cars, tech, and content creation have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by sports cars, track days, and weekends spent watching my dad and grandfather wrench on their builds. My first real taste of ownership came with a 2001 Honda Prelude Type-SH, followed by a 2000 Civic Si in Electron Blue Pearl — the dream color at the time. After a hydroplaning accident and parting that car out, I worked my way up to a 2002 AP1 S2000 in Sebring Silver, which I cherished for years before finally buying my dream car: a 2016 BMW F80 M3 in Sakhir Orange.

Over the years, I’ve done more than just drive cars — I’ve built them, fixed them, and learned what works in the garage. From suspension work and clutch replacements to engine swaps and aftermarket upgrades, I’ve spent countless hours turning wrenches. That’s why I take tool and garage equipment recommendations seriously — I only stand behind gear that actually performs when it matters.

Detailing came right alongside the mechanic side. My dad once tried starting a detailing business, and I grew up surrounded by shelves of waxes, polishes, and cleaners. I carried that forward, building my own kit and learning how to keep every car I’ve owned fresh. Over time, it became second nature — testing products, finding what really works, and figuring out how to bring paint, interiors, and wheels back to life.

On the tech side, I’ve always been a tinkerer — piecing together computers, modding gadgets, and eventually moving into IT as a career. That passion for tech naturally merged with content creation, where I could share what I’ve learned through photography, video, and now UGC.
